Stereotypes, discrimination, male standard: theory and practice

Women in the trades connected with ITC: attitudes of recruiters and school and jobcenter careers advisors.
This workshop will confront theory with practice, give women the floor so that they tell us about their experience as regards school and professional guidance in the trades connected with ICT (stereotypes, support, discrimination, etc.)
Its framework is the Electronica project supported by the Ministry of Employment and Labour (ESF unit), in partnership with ADA and two university research centres (Gide/Ulg and GKG/Kul)
The objective is to give the floor to people present. How are they or were they treated by recruiters, advisers, etc? What must be done or said to bring about changes?
Your experiences should help us to produce tools to increase awareness to advisable employment for women and girls in the trades connected with ICT for the actors of training and orientation.
